Melbourne (population: over 3 million) is a wonderful cosmopolitan city. Not surprisingly, it was voted "the most livable city in the world" on more than one occasion. Its arch rival on this front is .... Vancouver, Canada.
My favourite place is Queen Victoria Market, where we do our weekly fruit and vegetable shopping. It must be one of the most user-friendly fresh produce markets in the world.
