Simplex Method

This is no doubt one of OR/MS flagships, and rightly so!

It is therefore somewhat sad that these days many OR/MS lecturers treat it as a black box.

Fortunately, in our program we used to teach the undergraduate students the simplex method as a white box.

As we all know, there is plenty of LP software, some is freely available to students. However, most such packages are not educationally oriented.

The tutOR project offers a number of Simplex modules. They are all designed specifically for teaching purposes. Basically, students used them as if they apply the method manually, except that the modules take care of the arithmetic operations.

There are no "Solve" buttons!

Over the years I improved a bit the user-interface of some of the Simplex modules. For various reasons some of the modules are not linked to the tutOR site. I hope that sometime I shall find the time to complete the linkage and make these modules available to the general public.
